Supporting others
One of our values is respect. I am hugely impressed with the way you demonstrated your respect for others last week, through the amount of money you raised for BBC Children in Need. You raised over £1300, which is a great total for a great cause; the money will help young people both in this country and in others. Well done and thank you. Last year you raised well over £10000 for various charities – we are well on our way to beating that total already, with over £2500 raise already. Well done!
Assessments
I know at the moment you are taking assessments, either internals in the exam hall, or in lessons. I am very impressed with the mature approach our Year 11 and 13 students have taken towards the internals. I look forward to seeing your results and to planning how we can make further improvements before the exams in the summer. I also visited several lessons last week and it was good to see you working hard, behaving well and making good progress.
Winter Concert
Our Winter Concert will take place on Wednesday 28th November at 7pm. I look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible – make sure you get your tickets early!
