Thank you and well done
I am always proud of your behaviour, effort and work in College. Last week, however, I think you all showed yourselves at your very best. Our Armistice assembly and commemoration with the poppies you made were both outstanding. You demonstrated respect and empathy for those who have given their lives for us. It is important that we continue to remember them throughout the year – not just at the beginning of November.
I would also like to thank our Head Boy and Girl, as well as our House Captains who did a great job of hosting Corporal David O’Connor’s Mother and friends on Friday. We also hosted several senior citizens in College on Friday and it was good to see our students talking with them and serving them refreshments. Thank you.
Children In Need
Children In Need day is this Friday. It will be a non-uniform day for all students and we ask for a donation of £1.00 for this. The money we raise is paid directly to Children In Need to support children both in this country and abroad with various projects. It is important that we are part of this and support national charities– please make your contribution to help others.
