Welcome back everyone
We hope you have all had a lovely break, and are ready for the upcoming half term. As your new Head Boy and Girl team we’d like to introduce ourselves as well as our vision for the school.
Hello, my name is Oscar I am extremely pleased to introduce myself as the new Head Boy. Throughout my time at Midhurst I have thoroughly enjoyed making the most of everything that the College can offer me, and I truly look forward to giving back as much as possible. I am currently studying physics, biology, maths, and further maths at A-level. Outside of College, one of my passions is playing colt’s rugby for Pulborough Rugby Club. This is something I am very enthusiastic about and I am eager to see how the rest of the season plays out for our teams in the lower school! Altogether I am very grateful to have been appointed as Head Boy and I am keen to start having an impact on how the school grows and evolves around us.
Hello, I’m Sophie and I’m very excited to see what we can do this year as the new Head Boy/Girl team to add to the school. I am currently studying biology, history and English literature and hope to go into law in the future; outside of school I enjoy dance, drama and singing and hope to help students with their confidence in leadership and public speaking as this is something that I have gained from these activities. I hope to make a difference within the school that will live on past my time here.
We are currently forming three main plans for the school. Firstly, we would love to further develop the school’s inter-house competitions to add to that healthy competitive team spirit within the College. Another plan on our agenda is to build further upon the relations that we Sixth Formers have with the lower school in the hope that they can see themselves in our position one day as a visible goal to work towards. Lastly for our initial projects, we will be working towards an improved recycling system within the College and a plastic free canteen by the end of the calendar year to do our part with regards to environmental conservation.
