Well done on another great week in College
I’d like to start this week by thanking you all for another really positive week in College. Last week, a visitor from United Learning came to see our College and she was incredibly impressed with everything she saw. She thought you were well-mannered, that your uniform looked great and that you were working hard in your lessons. Thank you for such a positive start to the term – please keep it up and well done!
On 2nd November we are going to hold a fireworks display at the College to music. This will be a great evening – we will also have hot food, sweets and live music. I am really proud that we are hosting this event and it promises to be fantastic. Please make sure you get your ticket early – places and numbers are limited.
I know that many of you attended the information evenings last week and it was good that you came with your parents to find out how you can work to achieve the best grades you can. I also know and have seen the number of golden tickets that have been handed in for the prize draw – well done to all who are working hard to earn these.
This week will also be very busy. We have the open evening for current Year 6 on Thursday evening and I know many of you will be in College on the evening to help out.
Sports results:
Thank you to all who represent our College in sporting events – win or lose, I am always proud that you do your best for MRC and demonstrate our values in practice.
