Getting to College

BY BUS: 
Students travelling to College by bus may catch either a public bus or a school transport bus. Students who travel on a bus which drops in the College car park are not permitted off site once they arrive at College. 

 

WHERE THE BUS STOPS: 
Midhurst Rother College Car Park: 412, 413, 415, 416, 417, 422, 428, 431, 432, 435, 470, 491 

Midhurst Bus Stand - North Street: 1, 60, 70, 91, 92 

Your bus will collect from the same point it drops off. 

 

BY CAR: 
Cars are not allowed on site at drop off or pick up unless by prior arrangement. Students must be dropped and collected using either the lay-bys near the front of the premises by the Methodist Church, or the North Street Car Park. Students must not be dropped in the main vehicle entrance. 

 

WALKING TO SCHOOL: 
Students walking to College from Easebourne can access the site via the pedestrian gate by the main entrance. Those walking from the bus stand or Midhurst, should access by the pedestrian only gate along North Street, which is slightly nearer the bus station. This gate is only open at the beginning and end of the school day. 

 

CYCLING TO SCHOOL: 
Students cycling to College can access the site via the main entrance. Bikes must be left safety and correctly stored, securely padlocked in the covered bike stand outside the John Barrott Sports Hall. The College will not accept any responsibility for any damage, accidents or losses for incorrectly stored or unsecured bikes. 

 

Duty Staff: 
Staff, in high vis jackets, are on duty from 8am at the start of the day and until 4pm at the end of the day at the following points: 

  • Outside Tesco in North Street 

  • At the pelican crossing outside Capron House 

  • At the bus stand 

  • At the main entrances to the College 

 

Normally it is the responsibility of parents to get their children to and from school safely. Please remember transport may not always be paid for. The WSCC School Transport team will contact you by the end of the summer term if you are eligible for free school transport.
